1982 Star Wars: The Revenge of the Jedi Variety Supplement

1982. 11x15 folded, when open 42x15. In 1982, a year before "Return of the Jedi" came out, Twentieth Century Fox and Lucasfilm distributed an incredible full-color fold-out poster, as an advertising supplement to Variety. This poster, which measures 11 x 15 inches folded, and 42 x 15 inches fully opened, was not sold or distributed anywhere else. The front shows a message from the studio proudly heralding the top box office status of "Star Wars" and "The Empire Strikes Back." Folded out once, the two panels contain gorgeous, full-color reproductions of the posters for Star Wars (Style `A') and Empire Strikes Back (Style B). When folded out again, the logo for the 3rd movie, with original title "Revenge of the Jedi," fills the four panels, red on black. C7
